About the Role

This home has a 28hrs/wk position available and the schedule is Saturday and Sunday 8am to 10pm.

As Mentors, these staff will be responsible for teaching, assisting, and encouraging individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in the use of daily living skills.

There are two women who love to stay busy and live in this licensed group home. They both love to go out around Tucson for exercise, like walking around the zoo, the park, the mall etc. They love crafting and having movie nights. They appreciate a Mentor who is laid-back, fun, and will keep them safe by respecting their strict diets! They both love to chat and can spend an entire afternoon chatting about various subjects. This home is located near 22nd and Kolb.

About the Company

Tucson Residence Foundation, a non-profit organization, has been dedicated to providing the highest quality services and supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1971.

Paid training is provided to all new staff. A variety of part-time, full-time, and relief shifts are currently available. Some positions may require overnights or the use of American Sign Language. Qualified applicants must be able to pass a criminal history background check, be at least 21 yr. old to be considered a driver for insurance purposes, possess a HS diploma/GED, a valid AZ driver's license, and clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 39 months).
