About the Role

This home has a 24hrs/wk position available and the schedule is Saturday and Sunday 8am to 8pm.

As Mentors, these staff will be responsible for teaching, assisting, and encouraging individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in the use of daily living skills.

One gentleman who lives in his own apartment who is very social. Mentors help him follow his routine and assist with learning to cook, clean, hygiene routine, and follow his exercise routine. Mentors also assist with providing transportation and accompany him to activities such as Special Olympics, planning and participating in various recreational activities, and transportation to medical appointments. Paid training is provided to all new staff. A variety of part-time, full-time, and relief shifts are currently available. Some positions may require overnights or the use of American Sign Language. Qualified applicants must be able to pass a criminal history background check, be at least 21 yr. old to be considered a driver for insurance purposes, possess a HS diploma/GED, a valid AZ driver's license, and clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 39 months).
