About the Role
This home is a female only home and has a 24hrs/wk position available and the schedule is Saturday and Sunday 9am to 9pm.
As Mentors, these staff will be responsible for teaching, assisting, and encouraging individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in the use of daily living skills.
Two young ladies reside in this home. One of the ladies is semi-independent, but requires significant verbal guidance with healthy meal choices, medications, personal hygiene, and upkeep of her environment. The other lady requires moderate assistance with mobility, personal hygiene, bathing, toileting, etc. One of the ladies has gainful employment and the other attends a day program M-F. Both ladies are very involved in their community. Both ladies enjoy interacting with staff as well as going bowling, going to the movies, and shopping. Both ladies are vocal and able to express their wants and needs, however, they can have challenges with expressing their emotions. This home requires attention to health and safety needs. This home is located off Broadway and Harrison.

Paid training is provided to all new staff. A variety of part-time, full-time, and relief shifts are currently available. Some positions may require overnights or the use of American Sign Language. Qualified applicants must be able to pass a criminal history background check, be at least 21 yr. old to be considered a driver for insurance purposes, possess a HS diploma/GED, a valid AZ driver's license, and clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 39 months).
