About the Role
This home has a 32hrs/wk position available and the schedule is Friday 3pm to 9pm and Saturday and Sunday 8am to 9pm.
As Mentors, these staff will be responsible for teaching, assisting, and encouraging individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in the use of daily living skills.
Three young gentlemen reside at this home designed to support individuals with specialized dietary needs. They need assistance with planning menus, recreational routines, and exercise regimens. Mentors provide transportation to their jobs, or day programs; planning and participating in individualized social / community activities and assist with medical appointments. The nearest cross streets are Broadway and Camino Seco.

Tucson Residence Foundation, a non-profit organization, has been dedicated to providing the highest quality services and supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1971.
Paid training is provided to all new staff. A variety of part-time, full-time, and relief shifts are currently available. Some positions may require overnights or the use of American Sign Language. Qualified applicants must be able to pass a criminal history background check, be at least 21 yr. old to be considered a driver for insurance purposes, possess a HS diploma/GED, a valid AZ driver's license, and clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 39 months).
TRF offers extensive benefits to all employees who are scheduled to work for 20 or more hours per week.
