About the Role

This home has a 30hrs/wk position available with a schedule of Monday thru Friday 7am to 1pm.

As Mentors, these staff will be responsible for teaching, assisting, and encouraging individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in the use of daily living skills.

There are three gentlemen residing in the home. They enjoy activities such as arts and crafts, puzzles, watching sports, and gardening with support. The gentlemen need assistance with hygiene routines, teaching and assisting with menu planning, meal preparation / cooking, and cleaning routines. Mentors also assist with planning and providing transportation to community social activities, planned shopping, and planned events. Nearest cross streets are Prudence and 22nd Street.

Paid training is provided to all new staff. A variety of part-time, full-time, and relief shifts are currently available. Some positions may require overnights or the use of American Sign Language. Qualified applicants must be able to pass a criminal history background check, be at least 21 yr. old to be considered a driver for insurance purposes, possess a HS diploma/GED, a valid AZ driver's license, and clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 39 months).
