About the Role

This home has two positions available, there is a 29hr position with a schedule of Sat & Sun - 9a to 9p, Mon - 4p to 9p, the other position is a 35hr position with a schedule of Mon thru Fri - 2p to 9p.

As Mentors, these staff will be responsible for teaching, assisting, and encouraging individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in the use of daily living skills.

Two young gentlemen reside in this very active home. One gentleman stays home during the day with staff support. The other gentleman attends a day program M-F. Both gentlemen require verbal prompts and hand over hand assistance with personal hygiene, bathing, toileting, etc. Both men enjoy going bowling, visiting local parks, and scheduled recreational activities. Both gentlemen can express their wants and needs but can have challenges with expressing their emotions. This home requires significant attention to medical/health and safety needs. This home is located off Grant and Richey.

About the Company

Tucson Residence Foundation, a non-profit organization, has been dedicated to providing the highest quality services and supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1971.

Paid training is provided to all new staff. A variety of part-time, full-time, and relief shifts are currently available. Some positions may require overnights or the use of American Sign Language. Qualified applicants must be able to pass a criminal history background check, be at least 21 yr. old to be considered a driver for insurance purposes, possess a HS diploma/GED, a valid AZ driver's license, and clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 39 months).
