About the Role
This home has a 25hrs/wk position available and the schedule is Monday 2pm to 9pm; Tuesday thru Thursday 3pm to 9pm.
As Mentors, these staff will be responsible for teaching, assisting, and encouraging individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in the use of daily living skills.
There is one gentleman lives in his own apartment. He is very social and enjoys his independence but also enjoys the company of his mentors. He enjoys watching movies, bowling, and making plans with his family. Mentors help him learn his morning routine on weekdays and teach and assist with preparing meals, and grocery shopping on a weekly basis. Mentors assist with medication management and cleaning routines. He is independent with his transportation to and from work and needs occasional assistance with arranging public transportation. Nearest cross streets are 22nd Street and Craycroft.

Paid training is provided to all new staff. A variety of part-time, full-time, and relief shifts are currently available. Some positions may require overnights or the use of American Sign Language. Qualified applicants must be able to pass a criminal history background check, be at least 21 yr. old to be considered a driver for insurance purposes, possess a HS diploma/GED, a valid AZ driver's license, and clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 39 months).
TRF offers extensive benefits to all employees who are scheduled to work for 20 or more hours per week.
